Cuore Piccante

We’ve spent 3 days in Umbria and had some lovely meals and good wine… but this is the best we have had so far. Chef Stephano, who speaks good enough English and fluent French, went out of his way to explain everything to us. For an area that is short of fish dishes he had tuna and amberjack on his menus. We had a great meal, good wine and he spent time explaining everything to us. If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must!!!

This was truly a great find. Very attentive staff. Complements to Chef Stefano, who prepared some exquisite specialties for us. There was nice jazz music playing during dinner.

We've been traveling through Tuscany and Umbria for the past 10 days and this was our favorite meal to date (and we've eaten at a Michelin starred restaurant in Florence). This is a hidden gem and the chef is very talented. Our meal was absolutely delicious from start to finish and I just can't recommend this restaurant enough. Wonderful, wonderful food.

Delicious, creative food and excellent service. The chef is passionate about his work and his presence out in the dining room made us feel at home.
